The forlorn wind flirted with those

lustrous locks i craved to cradle

Leaving me stranded, bereft of blood

Weak in my knees voiceless and lost

I never had seen so sweet a face

My heart had left its dwelling place

Her misty eyes left me awake

In a sweet unrest oh my heart ached

The lovely smile that soothed my nerves

The voice that sent chills down my spine

A girl so strong i never had met

Facing all storms with a smile on the lips

Her tender heart swept me off my feet

She was a pearl ,one of it’s kind

For i was a girl in her teens

Torn to bits and stunned for life

Who could fathom all the love

I had for this angel sent from above.

Decades down the line i ponder

Arent we all a pandoras box

Dare not unlock

Lest the worms crawl out!!!
