Young Lee’s love for Hogwarts.👧🪄

Do you remember your favorite book from childhood?

HARRY POTTER series .Hands down.Calling it just a book would be unfair. At the age of 7,when i got hold of the first book ,i had no idea how it would hold me captive in a neverland for a decade from then.At the age of 7,the shy kid i used to be hoped and prayed for a letter from Hogwarts on my doorstep every morning. At the age of 9 , Harry Potter was the first boy ever to send all butterflies in the universe rushing to my tummy. At the age of 10, Hermione taught me what it meant to work hard.At the age of 12, i realised what Dumbledore meant when he said happiness could be found even in the darkest of times only if one remembered to turn on the light.I read and reread all of them a dozen times and travelled each time to my comfort space at no expense, feet unmoved.Years have passed .Im no longer the shy schoolkid who snuck harry potter books in to school.I may not enjoy them the way i did then.I may not feel the butterflies and i may not choke up reading Half blood prince. But had it not been for this book,my childhood would not have been filled with colours and pixie dust and moonlight and rainbows and all things magical.Had it not been for this book, i would never have realised how good books let you live a thousand lives before you die.
